Algorithm/Opensource_Prog for converting gmt(s) into gtr

Can anyone provide with a link to an opensource program/algorithm to compress/uncompress *.gtr file into *.gmt models in GTR2?

you can use GEditor to extract the .gtr's if you are not looking to buy 3DSimED but without 3DSimED you will most likely not get far in building anything much

but i cant invoke geditor programatically or can i ?
i am looking forward to build my own geditor like thing so thats y i require an algo or the code.
i hope some one knows the algo or i wish i could get the code of geditor
