All AIW DNF??

Hey everyone. I was just running a great race on the Indy GP track with the VSM Indy 2020 mod when all the AI cars DNF'd at the same time. It happened after my first pitstop so I'm assuming it has something to do with fuel consumption on their end. I'm figuring they all ran out of fuel before they made their stops. Does anyone have any insight into this?
