Allow car skins to be uploaded to / downloaded from server

ANY current game has major issues and flaws in getting the customized skins transferred to all participants in a game.
Trading Paints is a great example of a fan feature for iRacing in making sure you can load or download all skins of all other contestants on the server. However; this is an app that runs alongside of the game.
Whats the use of a custom skin if no one else can see it?

And if you want to enable censorship on it; let custom skins be handled / enabled by the server admins.
Admins should then be able to define custom skins for their server; assign them to riders if needed and enable the riders to load the server skins if they dont have the skins installed yet.

Yeah it's a shame more games dont support this.

Remembering playing counter strike source back in 2010 or whatever. You could download sounds, skins, maps. Everything from the server when joining.

Whats the point of liverys if only we can see them?

As long as you mean from A server, and not from the gameserver that people are conecting with. That would lag everything to a standstill. Links to a download server could be opened from the gameserver, like they are now with RD for example. The only problem is how do you limit how many copies of each file one robot can get down in a DDoS attack for instance?
