I'm currently using a pair of Alpinestars Tech 1 K-Race V2, which look great, feel nice and have tons of grip on my leather rim. The only problem is that my hands sometimes slip inside. I don't know if this is because I might need a lower size or simply because the cloth inside is too soft and slippery, while on the outside the silicon inserts are very very grippy. Anyway, overall these karting gloves are much better than any other gloves I've tried before, providing aesthetics, grip and comfort.
So, since I have realized that a pair of proper racing gloves can make a great difference as regards the driving experience (performance and fun), I have decided to buy another pair, just a little bit better. I have narrowed my decision to the Alpinestars Tech-1 KX V2 and the Sparco Arrow K. Both are similar in features and price. These gloves have external seams, something that I have never tried before but which is supposed to make them more comfortable. Have you tried any of these two models? Which ones would you recommend?
