I think the plan was to qualify and race both on Sunday, IF IT CAME TO THAT. But Qualifying in the rain on Saturday was completed, weather for Sunday is expected to be sunny. No worries, no delays.

So, Formula One visited the same circuit for the second week in succession for the very first time this weekend, and despite initial fears of another copy & paste event, the 2020 Styrian Grand Prix did a remarkable job of producing another exceptional motor race at the Red Bull owned circuit.

Following a soaking wet qualification session, and a bit of an unusual starting grid, many expected round two of the delayed Formula One season to be a good one - and it delivered once again.

You don't get to come into Formula1...tie your more distinguished, dual-WDC teammate in your opening season and in the same equipment....win your first WDC in the second year after missing it in your rookie year by one point....without being exceptional.
People may not like Lewis Hamilton...for any number of their own reasons... but there is no denying his ability to 'wring' a car's neck while extracting the maximum.
