SCS Software have revealed work in progress images of the new double trailer feature due to arrive for both sims as part of the next major update.
Fresh off the back of the recent heavy loads update, SCS Software have today confirmed that double trailers are making their way into both American Truck Simulator and European Truck Simulator 2, bringing to the simulation a very different form of haulage and something that has been awaited for some time amongst the sizeable user base for these games.
Not only have SCS announced double trailers, it actually appears that they have been in development some time back at SCS Software HQ and should be available in both simulations as early as the next major game update.
In something of a generous move by the devs, it has been confirmed that double trailers and the associated physics changes that comes with it will be deployed as a free update, made available as part of the upcoming 'point release' build, expected some time in the next couple of months.
Whilst SCS finish off the fine details of the new release, let's have a look at some pretty pictures taken directly from the beta build of the game...
American Truck Simulator is a simulation game based on truck driving and building of your own trucking business based in a digital representation of several American states. Exclusive to PC, the game can be purchased now on Steam.
