AMS, custom season, ability to change laps from race to race?

Hello ladies and gents. I have been loving my CART Extreme mod for a while now. One thing I wish I knew how to do is change lap length from race to race. For instance, I don't want ovals to be 70 laps, resulting in shorter races, whereas a road course 70 lap is fine. I thought I could change this within the directory, but it only seems to be a default setting and not for the actual season I am running (in which there is no option to change laps in each custom one) Would any of you more knowledgeable folks have the answer to this, I'd be most grateful :)

There's a better way to run custom championships in AMS -- using Nibo's Log Analyzer (technically for rF2 but works with AMS). It's a separate tool that runs a webpage in your web browser. You can do any race of any length in single player and then add them to a "championship". I wrote up a tutorial here: https://www.racedepartment.com/thre...better-results-custom-champs-with-ams.209965/

If you run into any issues, feel free to ask about them here, and I'll do my best to help out. :)

Ah, a very cool option to have then. Thanks for sharing that, I'll definitely try that out.
