AMS1 T300RS+T8HA FFB issue

I've got serious AMS1 FFB issue using the combo T300RS + T8HA

What works: Running without T8HA
I let AMS1 detect my device, identified as
JOY1: Thrustmaster T300RS Racing Wheel
FFB works splendid
I am able to assign my personal input configuration and export
FFB still working driving out 2nd time.

Now the issue: Adding my T8HA
Plug-in my T8HA, from AMS1 control menu I refresh device list, now rekognized as follows:
JOY1: T500 RS Gear Shift
JOY2: Thrustmaster T300RS Racing Wheel
Driving out without re-assignment: Still OK FFB
Assigning gears for my T8HA, now identified as JOY1: Still OK FFB driving out
Now the issue: I export my personal input assignment
Rebooting AMS1 I'm back to basics, i.e. default input assignments
OK, then I import my personal configuration of which saved before AMS reboot
Driving out: The assignments are OK - but no FFB at all

Any clue?

T300RS:
Firmware = 34.00
Driver = 2.10..84.0

T8HA:
Firmware = 29.0
Driver = 1.5.6.0

Updated via an advice regarding GTR2 using latest fw versions (been reluctant until now working fine with T300RS fw v. 32:00, but got splendid advices here to run latest firmware versions anyhow), but AMS1 is teasing me here.

OK a full re-install of AMS1 did the work.
Except for AMS1 now hijacking my escape-key, i.e. impossible to quit driving
But minor problem, I'll work on that part

Edit: OK that was for the VR-part, forgot to disable ""Exit confirmation menu".
Everything working again, phew!
