Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

@Fat-Alfie has just released his new masterpiece the Battenbergring!
Just like in 2021 we are going to have another championship on his tracks, so this time it will be 6 races.

  • Thomson Road (Singapore, 4,9km)
  • Bremgarten (Switzerland, 7,3km )
  • Deutschlandring (Germany, 10km)
  • Feldbergring (Germany, 11,4km)
  • Battenbergring (Germany, 12,5km)
  • Fonteny (France, 25km)
But this time you can exert some influence by giving your preferences for the cars to use and the day of the week when the events are held.

The car options:

  • Ferrari 250GTO/TVR Griffith 200
  • Ford GT40/Ferrari 330P4/Porsche 908LH
  • Group C: Mercedes C9/Mazda 787/Porsche 962 Longtail/Porsche 962 Shorttail.
The day of the week options:
  • Tuesday or Thursday
So if you are interested in taking part in this great championship, put your preference here (car option and day of the week option).

Championship details:

  • Cars: the option that is most chosen
  • Day: the option that is most chosen
  • 60 min practice, 20 min qualify, 60 min race
  • Improving track conditions (96% - 100%)
  • Mandatory pitstop (at least 1liter of fuel)
  • Practice server will be available during the week of the event.
  • Further details such as scoring rules and track conditions can be found on the Championship S.GP page
  • For each event, a thread will be posted as usual as a reminder and for the latest information.

Oooh, those Fat Alfie tracks! I need to try the new one!

Car : Ford GT40/Ferrari 330P4/Porsche 908LH
Day : Thursday

I would like to race Group C the most but not really on Fat Alfie tracks. I think the other options are more suited there.
Well we did a Group C race once on Feldbergring and that was one of the best races I've ever done on RaceDepartment. Flying though the woods with 200+ is very thrilling! Doing 350+ on the straight (Longtail) also.

Car : Ford GT40/Ferrari 330P4/Porsche 908LH
Day : Tuesday

I did a few laps round the excellent Battenbergring in the Lotus 25 and it was well suited to this track - small, nimble and not crazy powerful - so one to consider in the future?
Is there a car (or more cars) from the same era that have similar performance?

Note I can't do Thursday. Maybe it would be good to know Tuesday/Thursday/Either

Great!
My preferences (already said in Le Mans event):
1)Group C: Mercedes C9/Mazda 787/Porsche 962 Longtail/Porsche 962 Shorttail
2)Ford GT40/Ferrari 330P4/Porsche 908LH

Personally, I don't like Ferrari 250GTO

Day: I prefer Thursday

@HF2000 Sorry if you've already answered or it's in the infos, but when is the championship expected to start? Do we know the dates? I'm planning my holidays right now hahaha

Between Tuesday and Thursday, both ok.

Dates are not known yet. What is the 'normal' holiday time in the UK? I will probably not plan these events in the last week of July, whole August and the first two weeks of September.

Just got to know the Feldbergring. Really great.
I don't know any of the other tracks. I am very excited.
