Any way to eliminate the in-game DLC marketing?

When selecting cars or tracks, any DLC you have not purchased shows up as well, but of course you can't select them. I'd prefer to have them not be visible. Can I do this by simply pulling the relevant track and car folders out of the install, or is that going to cause issues? I don't play online so online compatibility is not a consideration.

Yes you can remove those folders and should let you use the game normally; those folders only have an image inside, is not actually the content of the car or track.
