Anyone tried gimx on DD wheels with pc?

I would like to test my wheel on some at simcades like wrc7, vrally4 and etc. But my wheel are not supported. Small mige 20nm/Simucube.
Has anyone tried gimx on pc with DD?

I am using gimx with my Accuforce wheel and Heusinkveld pedals. Works just fine with WRC7 and SLRE. I use the official adapter.
It was a little bit of trial and error to get everything assigned properly.

I've been considering getting one too. I want to see if VRally is any good before I do. I already have WRC 7 and I'd get SLRE as well if I do end up getting the Gimx. VRally 4 would make it worthwhile especially because I like rally and there isn't a lot on offer in terms of off road driving that isn't simcade. Which is fine for now, just need my gear to be recognised.

Keep us posted on your findings with the Accuforce. I'll probably just buy it, see if it works, and if not at least I can refund it. If it looks like it might be worth playing I'll keep it and just buy the adapter.

I made my own GIMX adapter. It is pretty inexpensive. I've gotten my Accuforce to work on my PS4. It emulates a G29 so basically any wheel recognized in Windows should work.

I'm not sure how GIMX works for PC though. Do you need a whole separate computer to attach your wheel and run GIMX?

Ordered my GIMX today. There are a few titles that I will need it for so it seemed like it was worth it. I miss being able to play WRC 7 and now V Rally 4 looks pretty good from trying it just with a controller. It's obviously better than keeping a spare G27 lying around, and having to mount that just to play shoddy console ports would probably not happen anyway.

Lets hope it works like it's been described.

Well from what I understand, anything that works with a G27 will work with Gimx, no matter what hardware you are using. It makes everything think that it's a regular old FFB wheelbase that practically any driving title that supports a wheel will recognise.

Confused, do you plug them into gimx?
Most simcades do not recognize multiple input devices.

No.
Vrally4 has multiple device everything there works but missing ffb. In Forza 7, horizon 3 I use emuwheel,Forza 4 finds me equipment as well but no Ffb.Wreckfest also find my equipment. Gimx is only to get FFB to work

So it looks like G27 (single DirectInput device) with G27 pedals and shifter.
Or just wheel.

BTW, Wreckfest supports OSW natively.

It's supposed to trick the game into thinking it has a G27 plugged in, with pedals, shifter, everything. The FFB then gets sent as if it was a G27. Probably not that much of a big deal as with OSW we can tune the settings in Simucube, they will still have an effect. V Rally picks up all my stuff but doesn't function properly when the FFB kicks in. It stutters, frames get drawn out way too long and then everything speeds up, like a rubber band being pulled and then let go. I take off the wheel and use the keyboard, and everything works as it should. They're NEARLY there with supporting higher end devices, but still not quite. I think the Gimx will be a handy tool for those of us that want to still experience these mostly off road titles without having to own a whole other wheel setup.
