Welcome to Wreckfest, the wrong way to drive at RACEDEPARTMENT
Will you survive till the end and score the most points for yourself or your team.
Can you handle the knocks and bangs of full contact racing.
Or do you just want a night of fun. if so this is for you.

The only real rule is in the race track events, there will no intentional driving backwards.
And you have to try and keep to the track. the rules are going to be loose but lets not go to crazy and spoil it.
Our very own, The voice of RD @Joseph Wright might be streaming some events this will be confirmed later (update streaming is a go)

Very sorry - really wanted to be able to join you this evening but I'm not going to make it.

I have a website that pulls damage data out of the Wreckfest / Steam API and summarises it. It kind of reinstates the old mad dog and heavy hitter awards the game used to have.

After each race it shows how much damage each player dished out and does hourly and daily summaries too.

I connected it up to the RD server so the data will update for you this evening, after each race, if you want it.

It's on this page - it will start to populate once the first event is complete.

All RD events are at 9 pm local time for central Europe.
But I honestly like that we're starting a little earlier. Just came home so gonna jump online in about 10 minutes, sorry being late!

Welcome to Wreckfest, the wrong way to drive at RACEDEPARTMENT.

This will be the first of hopefully many different themed Wreckfest Racing Cllub events. This Wednesday the theme will be oval racing so it's time to summon your inner Dale Earnhardts, Richard Pettys and Jeff Gordons, and turn left like never before!

However, it won't be all oval racing but there will also be a mix of other events as well, like the ever popular figure-8's, demolition derbies and banger races. So there will be something for everyone, even if oval racing was not your cup of tea!

We're still doing baby steps so I don't think we really looked into the stats yet

It is however much appreciated at least by my and I certainly think by others too!
If you can be bothered I would like you to do it again. Could you give a very short overview again about what to do with it?
I love stats, just not really into this with wreckfest

Of course! It's easy enough. In fact it's running now.

So I don't know how long you've been playing the game, but they used to have awards after every race. The 'Heavy Hitter' was the person who inflicted the most damage during the race, the 'Mad Dog' was the player who got the most takedowns.

At some point they took that out.

But I found that each actual player score was still stored in the Steam API.

So I wrote a bit of code that would monitor that data for each player, and store it in a database and then put it on a website so it could be reviewed by all players immediately after each race.

So if you refresh this page

as soon as each race completes you'll see who got heavy hitter, who got mad dog and also what each player scored.

There are also orange < and > hyperlinks by the 'Event #' heading. You can use those to scroll through previous events.

it also has hourly and daily summaries down the right hand side so you can see trends - who's the dirtiest, who plays clean.

The page still shows the last race that it knows completed - which was your last event last week. But it'll start updating as soon as you complete another event.
