Are tcr cars the new "supertouring" cars?

The tcr formula is very successfull and has a lot of manufacturers participating compared to the wtcc.More series are also starting like the italian and german tcr series.Such an expansion in manufacturers and series from around the world reminds me of the era that the supertourers started to expand and championships from all over the world were formed for these cars.So can the tcr cars be the new supertouring cars?

I first had my doubts about the TCR International Series.

(Urgh not another "touring car" Series)


But after watching a few races I started to find it very enjoyable.
Everybody can win in TCR. Because of the perfect BOP.


WTCC has no potential after the new rule changes in 2014.

(I hate Citroen now )

So yeah I guess TCR cars can be the new SuperTouring cars.

My thoughts exactly when i saw the german and italian cups. Waiting for belgium, france, south africa and japan to jump aboard the train.

There's a fairly decent TCR mod on the Steam Workshop for rF2. I've ran a few races with it and it's not bad.
