Are the chase cam sounds a bit odd to anyone else?

Ive noticed the engine sounds are a bit odd when in chase cam, kinda wobbly?

Its fine when you are looking back in cam view but not when actually behind the car.

Has anyone else noticed this and fixed it? I dont usually play in chase cam but it really is noticeable when i do

It uses exterior sounds of course, usually they're entirely separate samples from cockpit view.

Yes but the sound from behind is different from the bonnet, front or side...from the front or side the sound is muted but solid but from the back it wobbles.

Sorry to necro this but I never did get an answer. It happens with every car (mods are better but still wobbly), the chase cam sound is always wobbly compared to ever other cam sound

It seems to be more realistic sims that have this as ACC and AMS2 also sound odd in chase cam where as Forza 7 and PC2 and 3 sound fine in chase cam

Is there a setting I can change as it really sounds bad on the odd occasion I want to relax with my controller and play 3rd person
