Assetto Corsa black loading logo screen after starting session

This issue has started recently

go into game as normal, start a session and after about30 secs of driving out of pits the screensgo black with logo and the message Loading.....

system is i9900k and 2080ti 32mb ram

been playing for over a year with no issues until this last few weeks

graphic drivers updated but issue still there

when the screen goes black controls still work and sound carries on. Alt-Ctrl-Del doesn’t bring up task mgr but Ctrl-esc gets me to desktop and then I can type task manager into search bar to get task manager up then I can shut down acs file which takes me back to the AC menu but trying to go in again results in the same issue

many thoughts?

This very occasionally happens to me, but not usually linked to doing anything particular in the game (like leaving pits). Normally it's right after I fire it up in fact.
But I'd suggest simply trying "alt-tab" if you haven't already. Or click on the app circled in the pic below, as I reckon that'll be the one you want.

Thanks yes that’s the acs file I mentioned but closing that takes me back to the AC menu but when I go back out the same thing happens each time

But I'm suggesting that you simply switch back to it, not close it. It's still running away happily, but (for some reason) has lost the focus.

I tried that switching back to it brings you back to the same black screen with logo It doesn’t restart the video

Ah OK I guess your symptoms are different from mine then
Best thing if nobody pipes up with a solution is to just to "the usual" report - zip up the logs and post the issue on the official forum...

They are normally to be found in
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Assetto Corsa\logs
