assetto corsa crashing with CM

content manager starts fine, but when i want to start a race or practice, it immediately crashes
and this is what content manager spews out

Something to do with a HUD? Did you add any apps recently? Try turning off all AC mod apps maybe?

found the problem it was an old version of reshade. i've updated it and now its working
