Assetto Corsa fixing lag/setup

Hi guys,

Apologies if this isn't the right forum. I'm new here and I've been struggling with my setup for a while.

I normally play Automobilista on my PC/steering wheel on highest graphics settings and experience 0 issues.
But on Assetto Corsa, there is huge input lag and just so buggy I can't even complete a lap.
Turned down the graphics etc, followed setups on Youtube but no dice.

I use a pretty old TV. Could that be the issue? Again, no issues when using Automobilista.


CPU: 3.67GHz AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core processor
RAM: 32GB (upgraded for gaming)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 730
Windows 10


Max latency is already 1, so that isn't it either. Even with basic graphics, there's huge input lag and just an overall unpleasant feeling.

Not sure where to start, but does the behaviour change if you set it to something stupidly big like 30?
How many fps are you getting?
