With the 10,000 + mod uploads milestone reached here at RaceDepartment, we want to know your thoughts on your 'must have' Assetto Corsa mods...

We recently reported on the incredible milestone reached by the Assetto Corsa modding community - 10,000 uploads here at RaceDepartment, and to follow up on that impressive feat we thought it might be fun to reach out to the community and ask which mods you would recommend to a fellow sim racer.

Assetto Corsa Mods: Check out the AC Mods Download section HERE.

Often the cars and tracks get all the attention from the community - but in Assetto Corsa the variety of mods is quite incredible. Cars, tracks, skins, apps, shader mods, weather.. the list is almost endless. In fact it can sometimes be quite overwhelming for new sim racers to understand what the exceptional content is, so let's make it easier for them!

Sim Racing is AWESOME!

There is much more impressive community tracks to show off than that last picture. :)
That's kinda the point of this thread. RD is always such a nice place to visit....

Anything by Lilski or his pal Rigel (who did a great job with Barber--aka vrc_alabama--too bad it ain't free). Also a great mod of a 1973 SVRA Porsche 911 ("a back-dated 911 with an engine built to 1974 3.0L RSR specs with 330 bhp @ 8000 rpm, a Type 911/74 engine featuring high-lift camshafts, Weber 46 IDA carbs, twin-plug ignition, a 915/08 manual gearbox/rear transaxle, fully adjustable suspension with coil-over shocks, adjustable anti-sway bars and modern vintage racing tires") by Mac Ten. Hard to find...and it crashes the launcher (w/o CM)...but worth the effort.

Too many to mention!
To name a few of my favourites:

The shader patch and Sol
Minorating (RIP)

Fat-Alfie & LilSki tracks
Goodwood
Donington
Thruxton (not completely accurate but a cracking layout!)

T70 because it is a legend.
Giulia TZ adds to a great little 60's grid.
Fulvia same as TZ.
Griffith 200 gives the 250 GTO a playmate.
