Kunos Simulazioni yesterday released the video trailer for their latest piece of free content, the Audi R8 V10 Plus, as they do for all their latest content, however eagle-eyed viewers will notice the track that is featured in the video: Brands Hatch.

Whilst the Audi is freely available for download right now, the circuit is supposedly going to be released as a part of the third Dream DLC pack later in December. A track that is synonymous with British motorsport, Brands Hatch will be laserscanned in order to accurately replicate all the blind crests, bumps, curbs and incredible elevation changes that feature on the real life circuit.

Rumours around the contents of the third DLC pack continues to circulate with Kunos Simulazioni's Licensing Project Manager, Marco Massarutto, stating in an interview that along with Brands Hatch it will feature seven additional cars (he only mentions six) including the eagerly anticipated McLaren 650S GT3, the yet-to-be-raced-in-real-life Mercedes AMG GT3, the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, the Lotus 25 and Lotus 72D Formula One cars, and the Ford Escort Mk1.

Perhaps most crucially, the release of Dream Pack 3 will likely be in conjunction with version 1.4 of the game which is supposedly going to feature hefty Multiplayer improvements and updates. This is welcome news and is something we hold dear to our hearts here at RaceDepartment.

Are you excited for Brands Hatch?

Any chance of discovering more about this portion?

There's a little from Stefano.
Whilst it appears that his move back to Europe was due to safety concerns (and rightly so), it has enabled him to more successfully work on the MP aspect of AC due to lower latency when Beta testing etc. I have also read elsewhere (I can't remember where now) that 1.4 is supposedly going to feature many MP improvements.

I myself have already noticed a marked improvement in the netcode with 1.3.6. The collisions and car behaviour is miles better than it was in previous builds.

Hopefully developments will come soon that will enable us to run the mother of all championships! :)

Brand Hatch will be laserscanned?

Well right now i can't play in 64 bit mode without major fps hits.I can't put more than a few cars on track, for every car i loose about 10 fps.Even in 32 bit i don't get the frames i once did but i can at least race with 15-18 cars or so before it gets to low.I hope 1.4 fixes all this or there is no point in buying any more dlc's.:cautious:

Open assetto_corsa.ini from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg
and at the bottom change values for the physics threading. Maybe -1 (automatic) doesn't work for you. Then later you have other combination you can try, higher in the file, 'use timer process', but first just try with 'physics threading'.
If you have AMD card or cpu, update to the latest driver from their website, Crimson.

All those cars are music to my ears Lotus 25 Lotus 72 & Mk1 Escort are worth it alone
I am thinking maybe it will be the Lotus engined RS Escort 1.6 twin cam has that would be a tie into the other Historic Lotus race cars.

More GT3 cars will fill the now growing GT3 class out for a good 2015 online series.
If this is priced as well as the other Dream packs its going to be a very good new year or Christmas depending on what is late Dec . I would hazard week before the Christmas hols.
That for me would be excellent timing as I will be off from the 18th till the 4th Jan.

Nice to see AC speeding up its content & updates for AC though working on the content for the Console market is the driving force to get stuff out I would thing.

I think in one year we have seen a lot over very good content some free as well & the paid for is setting way better value than most of its rivals have done so far to date.
