Assetto Corsa triple 4k settings required

This is the second of my postings regarding RTX 3090 simracing performance.

System specs
Monitors: Dell U4320Q (4k 43" IPS, 60 Hz)
GPU: EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra
CPU: i9-10850K @ 3.6 GHz
RAM: 32 GB

Assetto Corsa graphics settings
Vanilla AC plus custom shaders required by some mods. Just maximize everything to your heart's content. I personally think some of the Effects are overkill, so here's what I used.

I have two Road Americas installed. One has 43 grid spots and the other has 48 grid spots... I can't remember which is Lilski's and really need to uninstall the other. For testing, I chose the version with 43 grid spots. AC has long been known to be kind on triple screen systems and it's no different this time! 73 fps on the start and the rest of the lap was in the 90 fps range.

Thanks a lot for the info on this. Apprecieted!

I'm not an expert on this so maybe I'm wrong...

Your CPU @3.6: I wonder if this would be a bottleneck. I think AC is (almost) single thread/core? And you'd want that single core to be quite a lot faster.

Your three screens are limited to 60 Hz? Seems a pity given your GPU (and OC potential of CPU), no?

Notice CPU=35% in the pic? I seriously doubt it's a bottleneck. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but when monitoring CPU cores, I never see one go above 50% in AC. GPU load goes to 98-100% depending on sim, so can't be pushed any higher, right?

Besides, I'm getting more than 60 fps and that's above the monitor refresh rate.

AC's MAIN_T is the only reliable way to tell if cpu is a bottleneck, task manager won't report single thread performance correctly cause modern CPUs switch which core they're running on so often.

Indeed.
Another thing to note is that 3.6 GHz is just the base frequency for the i9-10850K - it will boost to 5.2 GHz without any special setup by the user, and even with all cores loaded it should still be just a little under 5 GHz. I have no idea why Intel have chosen to put basically meaningless frequencies into their product designations... Some bizarre marketing thing I guess.

Anyone using the new CSP 1.73?
I'm running a 4790k, 16 ram, 1080ti STRIX with triple 4k. (Not very well) Lol!!
But this new CSP is a game changer!! I got a little better FPS but it was the smoothest that is the game changer. It will lock to 30 frames when pushing it.
I lowered res to 2k and can have a good solid 50 FPS now.
