Sorry from a distance it is not possible to help you. A clean install might be an option. If you can't handle the ERP Archiver then I recommend using only copy and paste mods.

You do indeed have to unzip the files. Additionally, you must use the Ego Erp archiver to get the DDS files into the game. I no longer have F1 20, so I cannot indicate exactly where the files should fit. Aston Martin has replaced Force India. So you should probably look in the folder:
F1 20 2020_asset_groups\f1_2020_vehicle_package\teams\force_india.
