4am this morning woke up & couldn't get back to sleep (what else is new)...So, started scrolling thru Netflix for something...
'Uppity' I believe is the title. It's the story of Willie Ribbs, who was the first black driver ever at the Indy 500. It's really about his history in motor sports from the beginning. Great story of a guy w/ a big heart who never gave up. And it's also the story of what it's like to work your way up thru the race car business as one aspires to improve and reach one's potential.
I feel it's really worth your time.
