ahhhhh right ok mate my bad,
Is it because there would be nothing to indicate you - with no OSD's?

In cockpit cam there is no rev limiter bar.

You can see the bar if you use the rear view camera.... but you can't see where you're going then

I thought it was quite annoying really when the game first came out, but i got use to not having that info quicker than i expected.

Sometimes the suggested gear is misleading too depending on your gears.
