Bad performance In RF2

Hi all.
System specs:
i5 8600k
GTX 1080
16GB ddr4 ram
Win 10 home
Rift CV1
I'm getting terrible performance with RF2, Tons of stuttering and when I use the oculus debug tool my performance headroom is below 20% most of the time, all settings in game are on Low!! Not using ss in debug tool or steam.
Latest nvidea drivers Installed. Not touched any settings In the Nvidea control panel.
In Assetto corsa I get 50% headroom with settings on medium and SS set in the config ini at 1.4 so somethings Is very wrong.
Any help would be great.

Hi Geoff, which content are you using? Day or Night? Wet or Dry? You say all Settings are on Low, try with lower AA and PP Effects Off or Low as well.
