Banned from AC forums, anyone have experienced this?

< Mod Edit: Please be advised that it is in breach of RD ToS to use insulting or derogatory terms. Post cleaned.>

Hello all, i'm banned from AC forum for more than one month now. As an active member since the beggining and with more than 1000 messages i feel shocked with that kind of attitude from them. <snip>

Has this happened to anyone? I agree maybe that they should permanently ban you if you were kind of disrespectful or insult anyone, which was not the case. I got banned until now just because people were asking on forum for MP improvements (more than acceptable) and all i've done was quote a message <snip> and used a funny ironic image related to what he was saying THAT WAS CLEARLY A LIE!! From that moment on, as it was admitted by Lord Kunos himself, he went on a ban strike and several people were banned... until now.

Well, maybe i would accept a week suspension because now i know AC forums staff can't accept critics anymore (they're rich now) and became a dictatorial regime that can only be populated by fanboys or "yes" sheeps...

So actually 'double posting' was just used as an excuse to get rid of someone being critical of the game...oh OK then....that sounds fair.....

No, a double-post (which is technically an infringement of forum rules) was just the last straw in a long list of other forum rule abuses which he had received several warnings about. Disregard orders from a mod on any forum on the internet and you might get yourself banned. Same on the AC forums, you can criticize the game all you want but if you do it in a rude and disrespectful way they have the right to show you the door. It's not about what you say, it's about how you say it. What's so difficult to understand about that? People get banned on RD to and I guarantee you it wasn't because they were criticizing a particular game.

Well it was me suggesting that its not only the official forum which will ban you for being critical of AC. In a day and age where reviewers are getting gifts and free trips abroad in return for positive reviews, its not a massive jump to assume more people are on the gravy train.

Again, nobody was banned for being critical of a game. They were banned for breaking forum rules after repeatedly being told to stop doing so. One of the mods over there has been as critical of the game as anyone so your theory about the gravy train is demonstrably false. People here on RD get banned for ignoring warnings from mods, and everyone here knows that RD has no problem with criticizing AC or any other game, but if you act like a tool after being warned not to you can expect a visit from the ban fairy. And on that note I will take leave of this discussion before I receive a warning from a mod.

OK brandon wright, love your youtube channel BTW...

Wth has GTplanet to do with Kunos forums or Kunos Simulazioni?
My account got banned permanantly from GTPlanet, because I claimed the XBOX 360 was my precious along with Final Fantasy, Metal Gears & Tekken will be released on it. I had no intention to waste time on trying to get a PS3 early, because Polyphony Digital were taking their time & the PS3 would drop price at release of GT5.(sadly, it all happened)

Sometime people don't really have malicious intention. Sometime it look bad at a specific time & event. So the only advice I can go with to not get banned, is simply don't write it or hints something is wrong indirectly. Sometime it worth to get banned, because it's a one time event in life.

I got locked out of one part of Whirlpool recently for ten days because some one repeatedly said something ridiculous, and I replied that only and idiot would think that, it was my fault, I took it and moved on. I still think he was an idiot BTW.

I wouldn't ever bother with a forum like that ever again.
