Bathurst! What a track to behold!

Yesterday I tried Bathurst and I will tell you at first, I hated the track. I was so frustrated but I just kept at it. After about 20 or laps I started to really enjoy it. I found myself laughing wildly like a mad scientist (literally). I think I may have found a new favorite.

I'm sure there's already a name for the downhill chicanes but I call them all in their entirety "The Cobra". I say that because it hypnotizes you in to thinking that your okay and nothing can happen, so you push and push and bam!, 90 degree decreasing radius turn at the bottom.

I can see why this track has it's very own event.

Bathurst?
Race against the AI = yes
Race against humans = no

I love and hate the track. I love it when I get a lap right (not fast mind you), but I equally hate it when I mess up at Skyline, Dipper or Forrest Elbow (again!) and ruin my car.

The problem with humans is that they ignore the yellow and white flags which causes mayhem. Although I have been punted by aggressive AI in white flag situations before.

@Isaac Chavira you should see it real life... the v8 supercars, the 12 hour events... its an amazing place... i may be biased living in aus and going to the events but to me its one of the best racks in the world

I'll have to save up and hopefully hit the 2022 event. I have been to AUS when I was in the Navy (US). I have been Perth and Freemantle. I told my Wife she's lucky I love her. I never had so many women (all blondes) try and take me home all in one day LOL (I was in uniform).
