I've noticed the new GT game on the PS4 looks to have a Tokyo highway type track.
Nothing we couldn't do in Racer really.
Lets see how Panthera turns out. If the renderer is still quite open we can easily 'copy' the way the Assetto Corsa shading works and then quite easily build tracks that work across multiple games without any really heavy workloads for the authors.
Probably possible to press a button and almost get a working conversion that looks great.
At least that motivates people to make tracks for Racer again a bit more
