Best placement for monitor??

Guy's my oldest lad has just moved to his own house, so moving rig into his old bedroom..
I have a 48inch monitor/tv, which will be wall mounted. my question is... in relation to the steering wheel what would be the optimum height to place screen

Most guides to cockpit setup want you to mount the middle of the screen
to the height of your eyes.

When I was using a TV (42") i had it mounted touching the back of my wheel to get a usable Field of View.

Only catch is to watch for color distortion if screen is too close to your eyes and that you can arrange the screen so menus are not hidden behind the wheel.
