Best Sim Racer for US based player?

Hey guys, I'm looking to get into sims (specifically racing online in a club/league) however I was checking out AC (and the AC forum over here) and it seems almost all of the races are EU time zone. Is there a game that more American's tend to play? Or am I doomed to race very little online because of my time zone =X All the EU races I have seen are generally when I'm at work or sleeping.

In your situation I'd say IRacing might be your best bet.

Are you sure? I see plenty of US events when I use the prefix filter http://www.racedepartment.com/forums/assetto-corsa-racing-club.171/?prefix_id=119
