Best software to create 3D models for AC mods

I have some professional experience with technical/engineering/architecture softwares, such as REVIT, and want to begin in the mod-making comunity (both cars and tracks).

My goal is to make mods for Assetto Corsa (ACC, if and when it's possible), so any other software necessary for make them work (some tutorials if available) will be very welcome too.
