Better AA?

Hi all,

I only game on a modest 1070ti and 8600K so ACC performs ok at my native monitor res of 1920 X 1200. Therefore I can’t use supersampling as it kills performance plus also seems to introduce stuttering for some reason.

Therefore AA is the only way to smooth out the game and it looks awful. If I use FXAA it looks terrible with jaggies and artifacts, if I use TAA or that new one it just looks like a blurry mess. Are there any ini/cfg file hacks which can improve things or better yet a way to get MSAA working?

thanks

MSAA needs forward rendering not suported by ACC. You can try Temporal upsampling, you need to drop resolution scale in game and up output resolution. It makes thing super clean in VR, should work on monitor too.

EDIT: Just tested on 4K monitor resolution, Resolution scale 70% and Temporal Upsampling enabled. Crips and clean picture. You can also go higher your native resolution by using NVidia DSR.
