In testing my new vidcard, I've come across something interesting and wonder whether it's normal.
When in Practice mode (running solo), I get an FPS of 89 in VR on my system. But as soon as I go to Quick Race - even with only 1 opponent - the frame rate is capped at 45. Increasing the number of AI opponents to about 20 only drops the framerate another 5 FPS or so.
So, the biggest "hit" on VR performance in AC, at least on my system, seems to be running an actual race vs just practicing. This happens both when launching thru Contact Manager and also when launching thru AC's "native" menu.
My system is i7-7700, 16 Gigs Ram with a GTX 1660 vidcard. VR headset is a Lenovo Explorer (WMR). So - I'm curious whether your system experiences the same thing in VR?
Thanks!
