*IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ*

Historic racing is famous for the gentleman racer era and that is the kind of atmosphere that I'd like to foster in the club. Please take time to read these web pages and try to get an understanding of what racing in this club is/should be all about.

Thanks

Golden Rule
  1. Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules.

I'll sign up again. These around Rouen should be...ummm, brutal.
Any Historical car has my my vote. Sign me up
OK we have 2 very early sign ups. Well done guys and thank you.

These cars have plenty of grip, so we should all have a good chance to finish races and it should be lot of fun. Thanks to @Yves Larose for suggesting the combo.

I'm gonna have a quick try to put the server up so that we can all try it out on the server. That way, any issues should be found with a enough time left to search for a fix.

Come on people, let's see if we can get numbers up to the mid teens for this one.

As far as I could tell, 5 is full boost but it makes for a narrow power band - just as you might think intuitively. Therefore, with the tallest gearing (I think you need this at Rouen) I was quicker on the standard engine map setting - Race 1 I think?

The powerband is hilarious. There's nothing, nothing, some more nothing and then a mad rush for about 1000rpm. It's right at the top of the rev range and takes an age to get there in 5th. I was yelling encouragement at it, with some swearing thrown in, it was so slow. Tricky car to drive on boost.

Ah ha!
The old uptate causing settings to change malarkey.
It's always nice when a software publisher messes with your settings without as much as a "by your leave"..... NOT!
Oh well, glad you got it sorted and hope it wasn't toooo time consuming/frustrating. :)
