That recorded sonic experience makes me rethink my estimation of Gran Turismo engine noises as unrealistic because of their resemblance to a vaccum cleaner (with jarringly heavy shift clunks!)
Hahahahah I agree with you. They sound so bad.
I like car racing and BMW is my favorite car. I like this car due to its look and its features make decision that is my favorite.

always a thing with these M3 GTR variants, iirc it's due to the straight cut diff and gearbox being pretty much hard mounted to the floorpan, and certain strengthening around the rear diff necessary on those gen 3-series in race use that messed with NVH.
It's pretty hard to get the M3 GTR's sound right. It's a combination of multiple sounds which are hard to replicate.
How did he get through those twists and turns! That's a sight to behold.

The BMW M3 GTR was very handful corners. Hans-Joachim Stuck drove the car like feather in his quali lap. He's still great to these days!

I remember watching that video when it was released and wondering who helped 'walk' him to that car.
