Bottom out

hi!
I am following this web to make the setups: https://www.simracing-setupguide.com
I am a total rookie about setups and I find it very useful.

But I don't know if the car bottom out ( I understand it is when the car touch slightly the road) or not. Any tips?

I think this is more important in open wheels. Does the others cars to bottom out too?

1) Enable Telemetry in the preferences
2) Drive a couple of laps. Try go do them consistently, don't aim for the last few tenths.
3) Start the telemetry viewer. Use the "Ride Height" Tab. The chart from left to right represents the full lap, the 4 lines represent the wheels. If one of the lines hits the 0mm-line, the car bottoms out on this part of the track. Adjust the setup accordingly and repeat from (2).

Problem with using telemetry is that you may never be able to reach zero. There can be suspension travel left even when bottoming out etc.
Decrease the engine sound or completely mute it.
You will now clearly hear the scraping sound if bottoming out at high speeds.
Also you should monitor your top speeds or live delta to see if you're losing time.
Having the car slightly scraping the track over bumps at high speeds does not always cost any lap time.
