Bought complete package; game quits.........?

Hi guys,

Finally I bought the complete package just a while ago.
Now I got in, drove 3 laps with a 2020 DTM car, tried to get out; game hangs.
I had to go in task manager to quit it.
Tried to open the game again; it hangs on the very first picture, the black one with the 5 cars.
What I did notice, is that the arrow changes in a "game arrow" when you start and see the little picture, then it changes back again into a windows arrow when the big black screen comes.......

And that's it; it just hangs.

This is a very fresh windows 10 x64 install (about a week old) and all other games run fine.
So, what could be the problem?

Well, that was fun, for 3 laps

Maybe check your Internet connection, and what's running in the background.
Also might be worth verifying your files.

It doesn't hang, it waits for the online servers to respond at that point.

"Hangs" are most often the game being unable to communicate properly with the S3 servers, something it unfortunately has to do constantly since it's always-online. I wouldn't be surprised if it's happening because of an influx of people trying to use the sim during the sale.

Try the things Kenny said above, but if the problem persists then try posting on the S3 forums directly. That way the devs will be aware of the issue and can look into it.
