Brawn: Team Orders Were A No Brainer

Though I dislike team orders...especially this early, Ross made the smart decision for both championships. His order not to swap position coupled with Nico's retirement in OZ vs Lewis's 5th, means that they stay closer to Vettel's leading points tally. Swapping Nico and Lewis's positions would have allowed Vettel to widen the WDC points gap. Merc's finishing positions on track netted the same number of constructors points...while keeping the WDC points gap smaller overall. It is much harder to catch up to a driver way ahead on points. All you need is both cars to consistently score to catch up on the constructors side. While It is a very difficult decision for Nico...it's best for the team.
