Forgive me as I am new to this, how on earth do I update the skin??

On Content manager or on Race Department, on CM, when you got the picture of the track, you put your cursor on it, now there is on the right side of the picture, 3 dots, click on it, here you can choose the skin you want to run for your race.
Your default folder in skins folder must be empty because the files in the "skins/default" folder always overwrite other texture when you load the track.
