Buying new content

Possibly a stupid question, but I am seriously confused about the way in which I can buy content in R3E. My plan is to buy 5000 points from the website and spend it on content. Will I be able to access that through steam? I just downloaded the title from steam and apparently there is no login so I am confused as to how the game will recognise that I have 5000 points worth of content. My email on steam is different to the one I have registered with at R3E too, although I am not sure if that makes a difference.

Some kind of explanation would be helpful. Thanks and hope to join you in the racing club!

Your R3E account is directly linked to your Steam account now, the email at R3E is only for notifications and newsletters.
