Your wish has been granted! This mod works a lot better.
Full changelog:

C4 model has been changed You can now go to Mod Settings > C4Mod > Settings and Arm or Disarm all existing bombs by clicking Arm or Disarm.
Explosion behaviour fixed,
-Cars
-NPC's (Walking ones and Rally Spectators)
-Player Driveable Cars (Satsuma still a bit buggy)
-Player being thrown back upon death now works Improved...
