Are there any changes to helmets (textures, models anything) in F1 2018 so you have to make helmet mod specific for F1 2018 or can F1 2017 helmet mods be used in F1 2018 without altering anything? thanks

To my knowledge, you can use helmets from 2017 in the new game. However, you may need to use photoshop/GIMP to edit the files as the DDS files use a 'DXT1' compression instead of 'DXT5' which '17 used. Just importing the helmets as is will make them blurry.
