Can't change skin helmet

Hi everyone, I have a problem to put a skin helmet in my AC. I downloaded a new helmet skin, and I put the file in ....\steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\texture\driver_helmet\new_helmet
Then I go in the folder of a car, for example tatus, and I changed in the folder "skin", the helmet section with
HELMET=\new_helmet
When I start the game my driver have the basic white helmet. I did the same process with a skin gloves and everythig worked, so I don't know what I'm missing.
Can someone help me?

Using the Kunos Tatuus FA01 from your example above:

Verify that the file name being used in your mod
folder called new_helmet has the following name

HELMET_2012.dds

Also verify that you made the changes to the
[driver] and not the [Crew] section in the
\assettocorsa\content\cars\tatuusfa1\skins\scheme_0\skin.ini

Hope this helps, let us know what you come up with.

I think I have followed right your suggestion but it didn't work. When I start a session I still see the white basic helmet. (don't look in the crew helmet line, I was doing another test). I also tryied to put the name of the helmet file after "new_helmet", but nothing changed.

Hello. I downloaded the AC mod Mclaren MP4/6 in ASR Formula. Now when I'm in game, and when I set my camera in my first view camera, I can't see the helmet. Can you help me?
