Cant find rfm mods in the launcher

I tried to install multiple mods that are rfm files but did not show in the launcher. Why is this does any one know how to fix this.

.rfm files won't do you any good.

.rfcmp files go in your Packages directory. Then in the Launcher, click on the Contents (icon of open box). Click on the Installed column to sort, so you can find & highlight the package to install.
