cant launch in VR?

i am having issue launching in vr?
i start oculus home, steam, steam vr, click play
i get asked how to launch: i select vr x64bit
i get raceroom startup screen, then blank screen and thats it?
am i missing something?

Try not starting SteamVR before R3E. Start Oculus, run the game in VR mode and let SVR start automatically.

Can you hear any sound from the game if you give it some time to load up and then hit any key to get into the menu?

If you do, it could be that you just need to recentre your view once the game has launched.

I can't hear any sound.
I will try as stated above,
Launch Oculus home, then steam and click play in VR x64

Same issue here. Have tried all the above.....no help.
NO sound just a black screen. This is after steam vr update 1.4.15

Try ditching the latest version of SteamVR which has been causing nothing but problems for many Oculus users for months. Try rolling it back to an older version which was known to work better. I have such a version here but I no longer have the link I downloaded it from. I'll try to find it later.

Alternatively, you could try this alternative to SVR. It doesn't work for me personally, but I appear to be in the minority. Many people report improved performance when using OC instead of SVR so it's worth trying for that alone.
