Cant open game, file locked error message, help!!??

Hi everyone
I am getting an error message saying a file is being locked and i can't open the game and the update has been paused, i have checked the integrity of the game and it is all okay, any ideas???

Your antivirus program might be the culprit so try turning it off. Once this happened with my Bitdefender which prevented the download completion.

Yeah was thinking the same as I had the same happen me with Automobilista. Turning off my Antivirus sorted it. Worth a try anyway.

I've had that happen a couple of times over the years. Try exiting steam then retry. If not then restart your computer, always works for me. First time I spent bloody ages trying to find a way to fix it, ended up being the simplest answer
