Car Packs

Hi

Probably a silly question but do all the cars within a Pack have the same performance i.e. is it just the skins and sound tracks which differ or are the gearing, suspension etc etc different?

Also, I'm really struggling to know which car to compete with on the Rallyesim public competitions - fellow racers seems to have chosen all sorts of cars, which doesn't seem to lend itself to fair comparisons.

Finally (sorry), there are several highlighted mentions that A8W-xx cars are the WRC cars but anything later than '08 will be disallowed???

Sorry, I can't help with the RallyeSim public Rallys, but I can advise that the different cars within each Pack ARE different. They have tried to balance the performances as best they can to keep them competitive within a Class (Pack), but each car will have it's own handling characterisics. Often, if you check the car's default setups, you can see the variations.

Many thanks Warren, that was the answer I was hoping for - similar pace, but the pack gives you the choice to select the handling characteristics which best suit your style of driving.
