F1 2010 Car Setup transfers

Just wondering if i pick the red bull car to go run in time trails and figure out a setup for a track and then save it.
Then transfer that setup to my career lotus car, will it be the same?

I am running on the PS3

yes. any setup you save applies to the track. throughout the game. Each track has 6 slots you can save in, which if saved in time trial, show up in career / online races

Just so you know, a setup that works with the red bull, generally isnt gonna work so well with a Lotus or low level team...
