F1 2012 Career Tiers

Hi guys,

Ok so I like the idea of career mode but have always leaned towards GP mode because of the way tier modes change during the course of a career.

My question is, can you change the tiers yourself to override any change the game makes to the tiers? I know you can change tiers using the database for all other modes, but what about career?

It's probably the same as 2011. The tiers will always reshuffle after the end of each season. Nothing you do can stop that happening.

Indeed but you can make all of them the same. So if all tiers have the exact same stats the game might not change the actual performance of the teams. @Ryder25 might know for sure if this is working.

so you are saying make the tier values the same in f1 teams tab in the database or ai tier characteristics tab?

Would this mean that a hrt has the same chance of a win as say a mclaren tho?

What do you mean the tiers shuffle? Does that mean some teams get faster and others get slower, so lotus and sauber might be the top 2 teams next season and redbull and mclaren might be 3rd and 4th?

Yes the tiers move around during a career, something I don't like.

Yes, that'd be the case. You could fine tune everything, tho.
