Notes:
- Option tires
- ABS and Traction control On. Using a Xbox360 Gamepad.
- No DRS
- No Kers
- The objective was to found a setup good for races where the use of DRS is rare and where kers is just a bonus.

The car become very very easy to drive, you only need to stop accelerating in a fast corner if you make a mistake and just removing the foot a little from the throtle will be enough.

The S3 is the tricky part because you dont have your wings helping much but you can do it fine.
Also you dont have a good straight speed making overtaking a little more hard. (save kers/drs for that)

Notes
TT Time set: 1:18:966

It is difficult to tell whether this is competitive or not due to the fact that dozens of people have decided to set a time, after cutting the last chicane completely and using the old piece of track.

This is a complete glitch which I hope Codemasters fixes ASAP because its not really fair for people like me who are trying to make setups, and it makes it harder to tell whether my lap is any good without going through dozens of ghost cars.

I could probably get this down to 1:18:5 or lower if I got every corner spot on. I am happy though with this setup and time, it was a joy to ride :) Enjoy!

Catalunya is naturally a very hilly track with many high speed corners and undulations.

Ride Height and Suspension is much more important in this game, and the car is way too stiff if you keep them at 1-1, 11-11.

I hate the fact that people are using a glitch on this track. Seeing people completely cut the last chicane and use the old part of the track is just silly. I am hoping to make a good setup which won't take advantage of it.

It's really annoying to see all these bug cuts, although so many other tracks, Melbourne for example where cutting is a major factor. I'd like to see more orange pins on the insides of corners.

I actually made a post about this issue on the official Codemasters forums.

A lot of people agreed with me, and a moderator actually responded and let us know the issue has been forwarded to QA. Hopefully they will fix it in an upcoming patch. I have asked if Time Trial times will be reset for Catalunya, but have yet to hear back from them. Hopefully they will, as a 1:13/14 is an absolute ridiculous time around there.

As for Mr Schuey above me, I am pretty pleased about that setup, I am starting to get the hang of what works, and what doesn't regarding setups now. Cheers.

Seems i can't get much better then 1:26:123 (STR using Keyboard)... need to get me a wheel. As i alrdy asked in the general thread; any1 got an idea why i can't select thr brake size??

Hi,
How do you get your 7th gear over 320 km/h? Mine won't go past it on my ratio set up. I have to hold revs two thirds of the way up home straight or blow engine. I am only on intermediate level in career driving a Torro Roso. Is my difficulty level anything to do with it? There is a setup for a torro but that is 325 km/h
Help appreciated down 1 second on time.
Cheers

note:please put the time, I ask to see if the setup is good or not, some people call it so I know how good or how bad the setup, I for example with this setup ago was a time of 1:18,7 my best lap, my earlier laps walked between e1: 19, low and medium. and had some problems with the last Chicano circuit, but not the fault of that probe bariums call setup settings and cost me a ton to do well.

2nd on PS3 TT oooooooooooooooosh!

No setup needed, follow the secret route...

your secret is to skip the first chicane and the last. I can come down your time with it do not say anything, I have 1.15 in Catalonia and if you want you can download the time but that skipping these curbas. But merit is to make the circuit well and not skipping the curbas.
