AMS2 Catherham SL Sprintraces (3x20m) @ Laguna Seca => Thursday august 4th

Join us in the Caterham Superlight (300) series.

This super privateer icon is just a blast drive. With its decent PK to weight ration you be flying over you laps without it being an "only specialist can drive this" car.

The list of standard equipment reflects the Superlight’s bias to track work: wide-track front suspension, 6 speed gearbox, carbon fibre dashboard and front wings, GRP aeroscreen and seats, racing harness, removable steering wheel. Quoted weight for the Superlight is about 50 kg (110 lb) less than the Roadsport, due in part to the lack of a spare wheel and carrier. Engine options include the Ford Sigma (150 bhp (110 kW)) for the R300, whilst both the R400 (210 bhp (160 kW)) and R500 (263 bhp (196 kW)) use the 2 litre variant of Ford Cosworth Duratec engine.

Track of choise is Laguna Seca, a track that suits these and so many other car classes wel. We will de doing 3 sprintraces of 20 minutes each with a short pause (10 min practice) in between. Race 2 and 3 will be random grid races. Next we will do same format, same track but with the Stockcar 2022.
The schedule will look like this, Perhaps with some surprises regarding track conditions.

These cars have been recommended to me so many times and I never quite got around to trying them out. This seems like a good excuse! Can I take a spot please @Guido Trampe? I seem to have resolved my audio issues with a bit of mindless tinkering, so fingers crossed....
